Terms & Conditions

• Before or Upon Delivery we need a Copy of Proof of Payment of the Balance of the Invoice either via EFT or CASH Payments.
• There has to be a responsible Person on site to show us the access point were to Drop-off the Skip/Skips.
• We need sufficient space for the drop-off & collection of the skip at least 1.5m radius clearance around our skips.
•  Brothers Skips reserves the right under the Road Traffic Act & Workplace Health & Safety Act to refuse to lift the receptacle and a daily hire charges and labor fees are applicable and duly payable by the customer, charged at the current rate at that time until such time as the skip is safe to transport.
• If a skip is not available for collection on the designated pick up day(unless there are arrangements for extended hire) additional transport charges & hire charges will be added for wasted time.
• Additional Collection is charged per load.
• Under NO circumstances may the skip be moved (were the customer agreed on a relevant area) this will affect the collection or loading procedures.
•  We need a minimum of 48 hours notice for collecting the skips other than our standard collection days (This must be pre arranged).
•  Any verbal instruction, at the point of order, or on site, be it in the event that a signature is obtained, can’t be gained on delivery, and/or in the event of the customer or representative thereof not being onsite for signatory purpose, it will be deemed that the terms &conditions are accepted once delivery has taken place, and if filling the skip provided, all terms & conditions fully apply therein.
• A Full indemnity that Brothers Skips against any liability for personal injury or property damage when instructed verbally at the point of order, in person on site, or otherwise, by the customer or their representative(s), for any damages caused when directed off the public highway, to a place not constructed or generally rated for heavy weight in terms of curbs, pavements, driveways, footings, pipes, manholes, pits or other obstacle(s) in width, height or however such injury of damage may be caused.
• NO skips will be filled above the top rim & there will be no items of waste protruding above or from any direction whatsoever of the skip, and all waste will be confined within the skips capacity.
• Overfilled Skips will be charged extra R150.00 and no Burning of waste inside the skip as the cost will also be charged against the Client. Overfilled Skips will be charged extra R150.00 and no Burning of waste inside the skip as the cost will also be charged against the Client.
• Skips WILL NOT contains any prohibited items such as
  Asbestos /Tyres / Paints / Liquids / Foodstuffs / Combustibles or Gases
  , unless a pre arranged, and a suitable receptacle is supplied and charged accordingly at the current rate.
• Should any of the above prohibited items be found to be in the hired skip, the customer is liable for all separation, environmental clean-up, administration and disposal / hygiene costs arising from that contamination. Customer is liable for extra costs.
• To pay Brothers Skips for any damages, repairs or replacement thereof incurred to skips, plant or equipment that may be damaged or defaced whilst on hire or on site and in the possession of the customer.
• Should the customer fail to fulfill their monthly financial obligation to Brothers Skips for the rental of product or should the customer fail to return the product, Brothers Skips maintains the right to enter upon the premises where the product is kept, without notice and take possession of and remove it all without legal process, the customer hereby waving any claims for damages from any such entry, taking or removal. In the event of a voluntary petition for bankruptcy of receivership filed by or against the customer, the rental agreement shall be terminated on the filling date and the product shall be returned to Brothers Skips and all unpaid rents shall be paid by the undersigned. The customers signature on this rental agreement will constitute both their corporate and personal guarantee to Brothers Skips that its invoice will be paid.
• By accepting delivery of our bin or service the customer, or representative thereof, is fully accepting the terms & conditions setout of bin hire and services provided by Brothers Skips.
